Orrin G. Moore, from Southold, Suffolk County, graduated in January, 1862. He joined the Normal School Company as a private. He transferred to the U. S. Signal Corps in early 1864. He taught for a year-and-a-half after the war, and later moved to Greeley Colorado. He was "interested in temperance and reform." As of 1895, he was a farmer, still living in Greeley with his 3 children. (1)
